From the VOUWA events page you can create a page for any celebration: birthday, anniversary, graduation or generic event. Choose the type, customise the link (e.g. vouwa.com/en/marcos-party), enter details and share the link. The page includes countdown, RSVP, schedule, venue map, optional gift list, photo gallery and playlist. No email or password needed: create the event, choose a 6-digit PIN and receive a private link. The free trial lasts 72 hours. No app download required for guests.

VOUWA offers a free 72-hour trial for all non-wedding events with all features active: RSVP, schedule, photos, map, countdown and more. No credit card or email registration required. After the trial, the event is automatically deleted unless persistence is requested. To keep the event permanently active, contact the VOUWA team at info@vouwa.com. Pricing depends on the event type and desired features. There is no per-guest fee: the price is fixed regardless of the number of invitees.
Do my guests need to download an app?
No, guests do not need to download any app. VOUWA works as a web page: just open the link in a phone or computer browser. The page adapts automatically to all devices (iPhone, Android, tablet, desktop). Guests can RSVP, view the schedule, check the map, browse the photo gallery and suggest songs, all from one link. No registration required for guests. VOUWA is an Italian platform with data stored on EU servers, GDPR compliant.
How does privacy work for events on VOUWA?
VOUWA is GDPR compliant. Guest data is stored on EU servers (Supabase in the European Union). For 72-hour trial events, all data is automatically deleted when the trial period expires. VOUWA does not use advertising trackers and does not sell data to third parties. The host accesses the event through a private link with a 6-digit PIN, no email registration required. For persistent events, the host can request data deletion at any time by writing to privacy@vouwa.com. VOUWA respects all data subject rights under the GDPR: access, rectification, erasure and data portability.
Can I customise the link for my event?
Yes, when creating the event you choose a custom slug. The link will be in the form vouwa.com/en/your-event-name. The slug can contain lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens, from 3 to 40 characters. If the chosen slug is already taken, VOUWA automatically suggests available alternatives. Once confirmed, the link stays active for the entire duration of the event. It never changes, so you can print QR codes and share the link safely. The page works in both Italian and English.
Does VOUWA support multi-language invitations?
Yes, VOUWA supports bilingual Italian and English invitations. You can configure all content in both languages: title, description, ceremony schedule, RSVP messages and practical information. Guests can switch language directly from the event page. This feature is particularly useful for families with international guests or for events in multicultural settings. Multi-language support is included in the free 72-hour trial.
